The mission of the USTA Foundation is to bring tennis and education together to change lives. Using this powerful combination, we help serve up dreams for under-resourced youth and their families. We support programs nationwide that leverage tennis and education to help those in need, primarily through the National Junior Tennis & Learning network
Partners & Sponsors
The USTA Florida Section Foundation provides financial support to organizations that help people of all ages and abilities improve their health and quality of life through the great game of tennis. As our partner we received an equipment grant for racquets, balls and nets.
The Achievement Center is an extended day program offering structured academic, homework assistance and recreational activities. DBYTF is one of the extracurricular activities that the center offers to its students. As our partner they provide us with an on-site counselor and use of a van with a driver to transport our students between Village Academy and Catherine Strong Park.
The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County works to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. The club offers daily access to a broad range of programs in six core program areas: character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills; the arts; sports and fitness and technology.
Parks and Recreation offers a variety of programs, activities and special events to everyone in the community as well as guests and visitors. Parks and Recreation maintains over 40 parks and recreational facilities including two pools, a splash park, athletic fields, skate park, and one and a half miles of public beach that is guarded 365 days a year.
Paul’s Place is an after-school program for “at risk” children located at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in southwest Delray Beach, Florida. It began in the fall of 2000 after neighborhood children flocked to the church looking for a safe haven and homework help. These predominately Haitian children attend Palm Beach County public school and most would go home to an empty house in the afternoon without our program. We strive to provide not only a safe haven for our children, but also to feed, tutor and enrich their lives.
The Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation wouldn’t be able to do all we do without your support and contributions.
