We founded the Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2015 with the following mission:
“To enhance the lives of under-resourced youth through tennis, academic support, and life skills.”
Crafting Our Vision: A Guide to Long-Term Success
Our vision at the Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation goes beyond the tennis court. We strive to create a supportive environment where under-sourced youth can thrive academically, personally, and athletically. Founded in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our focus is on changing lives through a range of programs that highlight tennis, academic support, and life skills training. We strongly believe in how sports can be inspiring, the crucial role of education in achieving future success, and the significance of life skills in developing resilient and confident individuals.

We instill the values of Arthur Ashe.
As a member the USTA Foundation’s National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) Chapter, we follow the Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) and NET Generation curriculum, which are designed to support academic achievement and promote health and wellness.
The ACE program provides opportunities for team building, writing, and developing better communication skills through speaking clearly and listening to others. In addition to physical fitness gained doing tennis drills, the NET Generation program focuses on play and building character. Providing a fun outlet after school also boosts the student’s school attendance.
Both these programs were designed to reflect the ideals and principles of Arthur Ashe, who with Charlie Pasarell and Sheridan Snyder created the NJTL.
